Every year, high schools allow college counselors to visit, meet with interested students, talk about the colleges they represent, and offer answers to student questions. Often these representatives are the actual people assigned to read applications from your area. This is a great opportunity to find out exactly what they are looking for from students. These representatives also spend a lot of time on campus at your dream school and can answer all your burning questions.

High schools and community colleges will also hold college fairs where upwards of 150 colleges will be present. You can walk around and discover places you might not even be aware of. You might discover your dream school!
