Located in Poughkeepsie, New York, Vassar College is a highly selective, private liberal arts college that was founded in 1861. With a beautiful 1,000-acre campus and a student body of approximately 2,500, Vassar is known for its rigorous academics, talented faculty, and vibrant student community.

I've been on this campus a few times for tours during various times of the year. I've seen the blankets of snow, the flowers in bloom, and on this latest trip, the glory of a heavy rain. Each time I am blown away by the tremendous beauty on this campus. It's a lovely spot to be inspired.

Fun Facts:

  1. Vassar College was the first women's college to grant degrees in the same academic subjects as men's colleges, and the first to have a field hockey team.
