Admission Information:

a) Application Requirements: To join the University of Rochester family, prospective students need to submit their application through the Common Application or the Coalition Application. Along with the completed application, you will need to provide your high school transcript, letters of recommendation, and a personal essay.

The University of Rochester is test optional. If you wish to submit your scores, great! But it is not required. You may also submit links to electronic media as part of your application (for example: YouTube videos, art portfolios, etc.). You may also submit a family/peer recommendation form in order for admissions to get to know you better. Finally, you also have the option (highly recommended) to sign up for an interview.

b) Early Decision and Regular Decision: The university offers both Early Decision and Regular Decision options. Early Decision is binding and demonstrates a student's strong commitment to attending the University of Rochester if admitted.
